Wilder is a wonderful K-6 elementary school located approximately 20 miles northeast of Seattle in Woodinville, Washington. Wilder is a warm, friendly, welcoming school where parents are actively involved in their child's education. Even though we are a large school with over 500 students currently enrolled, instruction is personalized and each student is viewed as unique and special.

Teachers, parents and students meet often to set high, yet realistic, goals for learning. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and behavior at Wilder. We provide a strong academic foundation in reading, writing, and mathematics with opportunities to problem solve and apply skills to real life activities. Science instruction is "hands-on" with an outdoor environmental science investigation program in the ponds, wetlands, and woods surrounding our school. Technology is an integral part of our instruction and integrated throughout the curriculum at Wilder...you will see students using technology in unique ways on any given day as you walk through our building.

Wilder has an active P.T.S.A. which provides many enrichment activities such as field trips, artists in residence, author visits, our annual science and math fair, parenting programs and fun family events (Pizza Bingo and the Wilder Wolf Walk are a couple of student and parent favorites!).

We hope you will browse our updated web site to find out more about our school or stop by to visit us in person. We are a community of learners where students, staff, and parents enjoy learning together. We invite you to join our school family!
