Thoreau PTA contributes to
Thoreau Elementary about $25,000 a year for student
enrichment programs.
Vital programs like:
Money per
student for each teacher to use to buy additional needed classroom supplies
(books, planners, spellcheckers, compasses, whiteboards, etc.)
Buses for
field trips (one bus is $250.00)
We
enhance the Reading, Math, Science, Music, PE programs;
the library, and specialist programs like “Lily Pad”
etc.
