Student Letter

August 2007

Dear Rose Hill Students,

I hope that you are enjoying your summer vacation. School will open soon, and we are getting everything ready for you. The teachers and staff will be going to meetings and preparing the classrooms. Mrs. Blaud and Mrs. VanderHart will be greeting new students and families and helping everyone with things that they need. Mr. Sokhonn and Mr. Theng are getting the building sparkling clean for you.

This summer I went to two islands: Hawaii and Lopez. I enjoyed swimming, golfing, and doing things with my family, friends, and of course, my dogs. I read some great books—the kind that you hope will never end.

Here is a list of special school dates for you. They may help you plan and get ready for school to begin. Please be sure to share the information with your parents or adults that take care of you, because they will want to know them, too. I know that there are lots of “Back to School” sales in the stores right now.

We are mailing a Supply List with this letter to help you with your shopping.
