2009 Season
May 7, 2009 Redmond 11, Issaquah 5 As a steady rain fell in Redmond, the Mustangs chose the right venue when they traveled to Issaquah High School Thursday afternoon to play their final game of the season under partly cloudy skies. The first half of the game was back and forth, with Issaquah owning a 5-3 lead after 4 innings of play. Redmond then tallied 6 runs in the top of the 5th inning to put the game away. Hitting stars for the Mustangs included Alex Brechner (3 hits, 2 runs), Colin McBride (2 hits), Chris George (2 hits), Cole Gerena (2 hits), and Drew Dow (2 hits, 2 runs). Redmond starting pitcher Parker Engquist and middle reliever Chris George threw three innings apiece and each allowed just one earned run. Engquist finished with 6 strikeouts, including the last three batters he faced.
