Welcome to the official
website of Redmond Mustangs Cross Country Team!
Cross
Country is a fall sport open to all high school students, even freshmen.
It's coed and it's a lot of fun! For more information about the Mustangs
team, our roster, and our schedule, choose a link to the left.
PARENTS: Cross Country is a wonderful opportunity for your son or daughter. For more information, click here.
First
day of the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday runs for the rest of the
summer. We meet in front of RHS at 6:00 pm. I'm unavailable in the
mornings, the afternoon is too hot, and 6:00 pm start allows people
to get things done during the day. These are voluntary practices,
but if you are available you should come and run with your team.
Initially we will do recovery runs and then later we will be running
quality workouts (tempo, hill or long) and those are easier with
your friends.

NOTES:
Weights:
Lift weights twice a week. Try to do push-ups and crunches every
single day. Stretch after warm up jog before quality runs and after
every run. Try to maintain
good nutritional habits. Drink plenty of water and avoid soda
pop as much as possible. If you ever have any questions or want
to talk running, please call Coach Villeneuve at (425) 883-3435.
Remember, you are in control of your preparation for fall cross
country. If you are motivated, dedicated, and will to work this
summer; you will have a great season!
