Mr. Ellis began his education
career in 1986 as a teacher in Hastings, Nebraska. He taught for one
year there before enrolling in a masters program at the University of
Idaho. He then taught for ten years in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho before
coming to the Lake Washington School District in 1997. Mr. Ellis taught
band and orchestra at Evergreen Junior High, Inglewood Junior High,
and Eastlake High School before becoming an assistant principal at
Eastlake High School. We are happy to have Mr. Ellis at Rose Hill
Junior High as our principal.
Mr. Ellis lives in West Seattle
and enjoys playing pool, bowling, exercising, classic movies, and dinner
with his family. He was honored to be chosen the 2003-2004 Kingco 4A
League Distinguished High School Assistant Principal of the Year.
