CLASSROOM CONDUCT
Student Responsibilities
Each day students will:

be prepared with required materials.

be in class on time.

have a willingness to learn while encouraging others to do
likewise.

refrain from consuming food or drink unless otherwise
instructed.

EXPECT GREATNESS FROM THEMSELVES.
Teacher Responsibilities
Your teacher will:

provide a safe place for you to learn.

always try to help with individual needs and concerns.

show respect for all students and their property.
-
provide opportunities for you to work with others and
explore the world around you.

be fair and impartial.
-
be available before or after school to assist you (see
weekly posted schedule in classroom.)
Required Materials
- Student Planner
- Science journals
- Blue or black ink pen, pencil and paper
- 3-ring binder with a section designated for this course
Grades
 | Students will be assessed with a variety of tests, projects and
presentations |
 | Students will be required to record daily labs and activities in their
Science Journal. |
 | Late work may be turned in for half credit until the end of the unit. |
 | Extra credit will NOT BE AVAILABLE in this class. |

Attendance
 | Our science curriculum is an inquiry-based, hands on program. It is
critical that students are in class to be successful in the course |
 | Most absences (excused or unexcused) will require that students come in
before or after school to make up missed activities and lab within 2 or 3
days followed the absence |
 | I will typically be available 2 mornings and 2 afternoons each week for
make up sessions (specific days and times will be posted in the classroom on
a weekly basis) |
