Seattle's Geography

      Seattle is Washington's biggest city. It's also a manufacturing, trade, and transportation center for the Pacific Northwest. Seattle covers 86 square miles in King County. Downtown is just east of Elliott Bay, an inlet of Puget Sound. Seattle's hills rise over 500 feet above sea level.
