Hello, you are about to enter my website about the African Slave Trade.  I bet you're thinking big deal, the slaves were freed, so what. You are big time wrong, the slaves were important to history of America, scroll down and see some information I got on the African Slave Trade.  Enjoy!

The slaves had it tough. They beat and sometimes killed to show an example to other slaves. Women slaves get threatens the worst because they would be used as sex slaves and have babies for their masters so the master can auctioned them of for more money.   

The slaves came from all around Africa, some came from war captives. A war captive means a person caught in a war and they couldn't fight so they became slaves.  Another place where slaves came from was the African traders. They would buy slaves from far places in Africa and sell them to the people who want slaves from other places but can't afford the money for transportation, that's where the slave traders come in and sell them the slaves for a higher price at what the traders got them for. 

The slave were auctioned in Africa before they were transported by boat to other countries.   [I will not get into the boat trip because that's not my topic]  They would be shown on a mini stage and be discussed and described. Then they would be asked to auction for money after the describing part.
