This whole web site is on slave auctions and some facts about African slaves. I hope that you have been well educated by the time you get done looking through this web site. I will be taking you back in the day when slave auctions were around. I hope you like this report.

The African slaves are taken from there tribes or homes in Africa. They are then taken away and put in these big ships that have very tight cargo for the slaves to ride in. They mostly die from starvation, and the diseases that are in the ship. They come up every once and a while to get some fresh air and some exercise. Some of them would try to jump overboard. Then they would travel to the states.

The slave auction is a place where the slaves would come from Africa to be sold to a buyer, they have very little education. The buyers' by the slaves and then go to a different states or counties to try to sale them to plantation owners to try to make a profit. The buyers do not keep the slaves they only buy them to make a profit.

The slaves were inspected at the slave auction by the buyers they checked for physical appearance. They were checked by muscle structure and how well there teeth were strong. Then they would check for any illness.

The slaves were treated like dirt. They would get whipped if they did not obey. Sometimes the families would get split up and sold to different plantations.

The prices would depend on what the bid started at and how many bidders bid.

I hoped you learned more about slave auctions and I hoped you liked my report. I hope this helps you in the future. Thank for your time.
