Japan is a really neat place I haven't been there but every chance I get I do a project related to Japan. Most people at my school seem to only know about Japan because of Anime or Video Games but Japan has that and so much more. First some basic geography, Japan is in the Pacific ocean. It is a really big island with high population, about 125 million people (That's about half the population of the U.S.A In the same space as a quarter of Washington state, yep pretty crowded).

Anyway It Has many mountains including a Famous one called Mt. Fuji. There's an old saying I think it goes like "Man who climb Mt. Fuji once thought to be wise, man who climb Mt. Fuji twice thought to be a fool.". It makes sense to me because anybody who would try to conquer a mountain by climbing it twice I don't think is the brightest. On the map if you look you can see a green line this green line belongs Shinkasen or as what they call it here the bullet train one of the fastest trains in the world. It is probably the fastest way around Japan.

After that we have  many cities the capitol being Hokkaido (I think not quite sure if someone could tell me I'd be really grateful). Apartments are very common since space is so limited. Many new things spring up in Japan as well like hotels where they put you in a small room on the wall. They are like tubes with people inside. There food has a really good taste to me they have stuff like teriyaki, yakusobe and  sushi. If you haven't tried any of these I recommend them.
