Redmond Elementary School Lunch Buddy Program

Mentoring Students to “I can”!

Home

What is a Lunch Buddy program?

It’s a way for adults in the community to help local elementary students succeed.

For one hour per week, a mentor is a student’s craft companion, checker opponent, and recess partner.  They eat lunch, play games, and just talk.  They are a confidante.  They are a friend.  They are a buddy.

A teacher, staff member, parent, principal, or counselor recommends students for the program who would benefit from positive recognition and additional individual attention from a caring adult.

Get Involved

1.    Become a Mentor: Sign up today by contacting the Lunch Buddy Coordinator.

2.    Spread the Word: Let other community members know about this great program.

3.      Support the Program:  The generosity of caring donors fuels the Lunch Buddy program, ensuring that all students get to “I can”!
