The purpose of the Leadership Academy awards program is to recognize and acknowledge the leadership skills attained by PTA leaders throughout all levels of the association; to build a pool of trained leaders for advancement in the association; and, to provide for peer recognition of the commitment of volunteer time it takes to achieve leadership status in the association.
