Mr. Johnson grew up in Port Orchard, Washington.  Some of his favorite subjects in school were History, Science, Math, Cooking, and Physical Education.  You could always find him outside playing in the backyard or at the park.  He also played on basketball, baseball, soccer, and track & field teams growing up.  He then attended and graduated from Western Washington University. He substitute taught for a year and a half in the South Kitsap, Peninsula, Bellevue, and Lake Washington School Districts.  This is his third year here at McAuliffe Elementary.  When he is not teaching, Mr. Johnson likes to play basketball, ride his bike, exercise, hike, fish, and spend time with his family and friends.  He got married during the summer to Erin Locke, who is now Mrs. Johnson!  His mom, Mary Johnson, and Christa McAuliffe both attended Framingham State College at the same time... pretty cool!
