Reading Homework

 

The Reading Wheel is a year long reading assignment.  I feel that variety is important in a student’s reading program, therefore you will be expected to read books from the different reading genres.  You will be completing a book project each month for a total of eight by the end of the year. 

During the year we will also be reading books that go along with the reading series. You may record these books on your Reading Wheel but you may not complete a book project for any of them, as we will be discussing them at great length in class.  This homework assignment will require long-term planning and personal responsibility. Specific book project requirements and grading rubrics will be discussed in class each month, and an information sheet will be sent home.
