Policies

Book Circulation:

Students are allowed to check out books for two weeks.  We encourage students to return books every week so they might enjoy many books and develop a routine.

Kindergarten and First Graders may check out one book.  Kindergarten will begin checking out books after the November conferences.                                          

Second Graders may check out  up to two books.                             

Third Graders may check out up to three books.

Fourth through Sixth grade may check out up to four books.

Lost and Damaged Books:

If a student loses or damages a book they are responsible for covering the cost of replacement.  Students are given several notices allowing them to search for their book before they are asked to cover this cost.  If a book has been found and returned after payment has been made, money will be refunded.

Donations:

We accept donations through the "Birthday Book Club".  Book forms are sent through Payload Packets or you may request one through the library. 

If you decide to donate a book we reserve the right to decide what will happen with the book; add it to the collection or save (or return to you) for the Book Rodeo.
