Elementary dedicates itself to: Centering on the Individual. Respect for the
individual is paramount. Individual developmental stages and learning styles are key
considerations when planning and delivering educational services.
Nurturing self-esteem through PeaceBuilding. Individuals will explore and take risks,
learning from their successes and failures. They will develop to their fullest potential.
Fostering a Love of Learning. The love of learning will evolve through skill development
within a culture where learning is valued and modeled. Self-directed, lifelong learners
will be able to solve problems, make decisions, and make connections between daily
experiences and abstract concepts.
Promoting Collaboration. We will learn to work cooperatively, to value the rights of
others, and to value the contributions of others. Learners will develop an awareness of
our responsibilities to the local, national, and global community.
