Portfolios
Every child will have a portfolio with samples of their work from the year.
Testing
Children will have weekly spelling tests every Friday. Reading skills will be continually assessed throughout the year. They will also be tested on the different units of Math.
Conferences/Report Cards
Report cards are sent home a few days prior to conferences. We will have parent-teacher conferences in November and March. In March, due to the limited spaces available, conferences will be held only if there are teacher concerns. The last report card will be sent home the last day of school. We do not conference in June. If you have questions or comments about your child’s report card, please make notes and wait to speak to me about it at your scheduled conference.
