BOOK FAIRS
Our Scholastic Book Fair, "Take a Reading Road Trip", will take place May 30 - June 5th in the Lakeview Library. Hours of operation are:
Friday, May 30th--11:45-1:20 and 3:30-7:00
Monday, June 2nd--11:45-1:20 and 3:30-5:00
Tuesday, June 3rd--11:45-1:20 and 3:30-5:00
Wednesday, June 4th--11:45-1:20 and 2:00-5:00
Thursday, June 5th--11:45-1:20 and 3:30-4:00
Come and see the large selection of books and find great reads for every person in your family. All of the books have been reviewed and approved for young readers. These books represent the best authors and illustrators in children's publishing.
There will be posters, pencils, erasers, bookmarks, etc to purchase. If you would rather not have your child buy these nonbook items, please talk to them before they come to the fair.
We love reading at Lakeview and hope you and your family can be a part of our Scholastic Book Fair experience.
Our fall fair was held at Parkplace Book Store on Thursday, November 1st, 6:30-8:30. Five fantastic children's authors were present: Kathy Adler - Wild Waters, Sundee T. Frazier - Brendan Buckley's Universe, Linda Johns - Hannah West of Millionaire's Row, Suzanne Selfors - To Catch A Mermaid, and Joni Sensel - Reality Leak. We made $276.00 for our Lakeview library. A big "thank you" goes to everyone who attended this fun family event.
