BASEBALL

Baseball is my favorite sport and the Seattle Mariners are my favorite baseball team. I like to play baseball and I played little league. The team  I was on was the worst team except  Shawn  thought  I was the best player. I’ve gone to three Mariner games and both those games the Mariners WON.

I  like to play baseball with my dad. My fastest pitch is 53-61 MPH. My dad’s fastest pitch is 55-73 MPH.

My dad and I are going to build a batting cage but all we need to get now is a 90x45 fishing net that a hard ball can’t get through. If you find one please call me. Thanks.

By the way the team I was on was the Twins.

THE PERFECT THING FOR ME

Chapter One

It was a bad afternoon. Annie had nothing to do. She was bored. All she could think of was to draw, but the problem was she didn’t want to draw. The reason was she was drawing most of the time yesterday and the day before. So she sat on the couch for a while just being bored. There was no one to play with because her older brother Jacob was still at school. While she was sitting on the couch she saw something move across the living room. It was headed towards her. So she decided to just stay seated. The thing came over to her and said in a quiet voice, “I’m Fairy Marigold. You can call me Marigold for short. What’s your name?” the fairy asked.

“My name is Annie,” replied Annie.

“When I was flying up above I saw that you looked like you were bored,” replied Marigold. “So I flew down to see if you would like to come with me to Fairyland.”

“What’s Fairyland?” Annie asked.

“It’s a beautiful sunny place where almost all fairies go for a vacation spot,” she replied.

“Oh yes!” she cried.

“We don’t want to waste any time, so let’s get going, shall we?” said Marigold.

To be continued.

Cassady is Mr. Coulter's 3rd grade daughter.
