SUPPLY LIST
2007-2008
All students grades 1st-6th: 1 family size box of Kleenex, 1 roll of paper towels and 1 sponge.
All Day Kindergarten: (September) Book bag (no backpacks please), 3 rolls of paper towels, 1 box Kleenex, 1 pkg. Crayola washable markers (not skinny), 1 pair “Fiskar’ scissors, 6 black Flair pens, a scrubby back sponge, and 6 large glue sticks, 12 pack Crayola colored pencils in a small zippered pencil pouch with your child’s name on it. (January) 3 rolls of paper towels, 1 pkg. Crayola markers, and 1 sponge. (March) 3 rolls of paper towels, 3 large glue sticks.
˝ Day Kindergarten: Book bag, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 pkg. Caryola washable markers (not skinny), 1 pair “Fiskar” scissors, 3 Flair pens, 1 scrubby back sponge, 6 large glue sticks, 12 pack of Crayola colored pencils. (Requests to replenish supplies may follow later in the year)
First Grade: Please send the following supplies: Crayons (box of 24 or 48 crayons), 5 large glue sticks (not the roller ball type), 1 doz. #2 sharpened pencils, 1 doz. “pencil-top” replacement erasers, 1 soft pink eraser, 1 plastic pencil box (6x8 inches), broad-tip washables markers, plastic zipper pouch, 1 black “Flair” pen, scissors, 12 colored pencils (sharpened), and 2 folders with pockets on bottom. Please mark all supplies with a name or initials (except every pencil, marker, etc.) Backpacks to be carried daily. Supplies not listed will be returned.
Second Grade: Due to the limited space in our desks it is important to send ONLY the following supplies: 2 black “Flair” pens, a bottle of Elmer’s glue, crayons (box of 24 or 48), 3 large glue sticks (not the roller ball type), 1 pencil box (6x8 inches, no handles), washable markers (Mr. Sketch recommended) in a zip-lock baggie or plastic zipper pouch, 1 doz. sharpened #2 pencils, scissors (Fiskars work well), 12” ruler with inches and centimeters, spiral notebook (70 pages), 1 soft pink eraser, 12 colored pencils (sharpened), and 2 folders with pockets on the bottom. One box of sandwich size OR one box of gallon size Ziplock bags. Backpack or bag to be carried daily. Supplies NOT listed will be returned. Three ring binders are not needed. Notebook paper is also not used at this level. Please, no hand-held pencil sharpeners.
Third Grade: Crayons (box of 48 colors), 2 doz. #2 pencils with eraser, 1 doz. “pencil-top” replacement erasers, 12” ruler with metric and standard markings (wood with steel edge), scissors, 2 soft pink erasers, 4 oz bottle Elmer’s glue and 3 large glue sticks (not the roller ball type), set of 8 marking pens, pencil box, 12 colored pencils, notebook paper – 200 sheets wide line width, individual pencil sharpener with shavings holder, 3 ring binder with 2” metal rings (no Trappers), 2 spiral notebooks (60-70 pages each), 2 folders with pockets on bottom. 1 inexpensive hand calculator, 1 black “Flair” pen, and a notebook pencil pouch. Fourth Grade: 2” wide standard 3-ring binder with metal rings, wide-ruled notebook paper, 2 wide-ruled spiral notebooks, 3 hole punched two-pocket folders, pencil pouch for binder, crayons (box of 48 colors), #2 pencils, colored pencils, 12” wood ruler, scissors, 1 package of pencil top erasers, 1 set of markers, 2 black fine tip Flair pens, 2 large glue sticks (not the roller ball type), 2 highlighters, a pack of 3x5 index cards, 2 pads of 3x3 sticky notes, and 1 package of unscented baby wipes (for cleaning purposes).
Fifth Grade: 2” wide standard 3-ring binder with metal rings, wide-ruled notebook paper, 2 spiral notebooks, a plastic zipper pouch to hold pens and pencils, a set of felt pens, colored pencils, crayons, good scissors, 1 box of #2 pencils with erasers and “pencil-top” replacement erasers. 1-2 large glue sticks. For math: a 12” ruler with metric and standard markings and a basic calculator. Please no staplers or white-out.
Sixth Grade: 2” wide standard 3-ring binder with metal rings, college-ruled notebook paper, 1 spiral notebook (for music class), a plastic zipper pouch to hold pens and pencils, ball point pens (medium tip, blue and/or black), a set of colored markers and colored pencils for art work, a thin black marking pen (Flair pen), crayons, good scissors, red correcting pens or pencils, #2 pencils with erasers, a soft pink eraser, Elmer’s glue, and 2 large glue sticks. For math: a good ruler with metric and standard markings, a small protractor, and a basic math calculator.
