Step 1

  • Parent reports to the Parent Check-In Location.

  • Parent fills out Section A of the "Student Release Form."

  • The parent hands this form to the staff at the Reunion Section.

  • The Reunion Administrator checks ID and verifies the requestor is allowed to take the student by checking their student's School Closure/Emergency Release Form

  • The administrator keeps the white copy and re-files it alphabetically by student last name.

  • The administrator gives the yellow and pink copies of the form to the Runner.

  • The Runner takes the form to the Student Care Area.

  • The teacher at the Student Care Area completes Section C of the form,  retains the yellow copy and files it.

  • Parent is directed to Reunion / Release Gate.

Step 2

  • The Runner takes the student and the pink copy of the Student Release Form to the Reunion Gate.

  • The gate staff member checks ID again.  And marks it on Section D of the Student Release Form.

  • The parent (or assigned friend noted on the School Closure Form) signs the Student Release form in the signature section and the time is noted.

  • The student is allowed to depart with the parent or assigned person.

  • The Release Gate staff member files the pink copy alphabetically.

(Runners will only collect one student at a time. Only the parent or designated friend noted on your School Release Form will be allowed to take your child home)

Final Check

  • Keep a pen in your car!  It may help.

  • Ensure that your school emergency contact information is current on the School Emergency Release Form

  • The adult who has been assigned to pick up you child is on your School Emergency Release Form in the school office. Phone the school office if this information has changed.

  • Your family and your assigned pickup have ID.  Make photocopies of each family member's ID and leave copies in each family vehicle.  The school district will accept photocopy IDs.
