All World Literature Classes: Students are finishing Things Fall Apart the week on 9/25. We will begin a unit on South Africa which will last until November 1st. All students are expected to read 1000 outside pages each semester. Please check WEBGRADER through the LWSD parent access page. It's as accurate as possible. For other issues, please use my email. (Avoid WEBGRADER NOTES. They're not yet as convenient as they will be.)
All American Literature Classes: Students began The Great Gatsby and will read it through October 10. Each student has a reading schedule bookmark. All students are expected to read 100 outside pages each semester. Students will begin Level V papers at the conclusion of Gatsby. Students will get three opportunities to complete Level V papers this year.

The Juanita Gay-Straight Alliance remains Juanita's largest student organization. Look for us at the Club Fair on October 9th. Social activists are always welcome.
