Meet The
Team
Caitlin Wildenborg (middle blocker) – Caitlin has improved so much over the past 3 years. She is our strongest blocker and her attacking has improved leaps and bounds. Caitlin is a great leader as well…and I look for her to lead us right into the playoffs this year. She is also a team captain this year.
Emily Price (setter) – Emily is our other team captain and is a great leader on the court. She understands the game of volleyball, which allows her to help her teammates in all situations. She also jumps really well which helps us run a 5-1 and be affective when she is on the front row…Look for her on the court, setting all our great hitters this year.
Angela Damelio (outside hitter) – Angela has been on varsity for 3 years and her improvement over those three years is unbelievable. She is one of our strongest hitters and passers. Look for her to be at the top of stats board, every week.
Emily Cheney (outside hitter) – Emily is one of those girls, that just keeps you wanting to come back every year and coach. She has a great heart to win…and a fantastic work ethic. Playing club this last year really helped her game and helped her get a starting position on Varsity. She has transformed over the past 3 years into being a great player.
Amanda Phan (right side) – Amanda is just an all-around great player. She can play any position and play it well. I rely on her to not only get kills, but to also be one of our primary passers. Amanda is very consistent player and that is what has earned her a starting position on the varsity team.
Christina Webster (outside hitter/DS) – Christina is very athletic and works hard. She is a multiple sport athlete and I believe that competitiveness not only helps our team become stronger, but helps other want to be that competitive as well. Christina also has a mean serve, look for her to be getting some aces this year!
Caitlin Dickens (right side) – Caitlin was a setter last year for our JV program, so she has great hands. She is also 5’11” tall which helps us block the opponents big outside hitters. She also has a great serve, look for her to always be consistent in serving and blocking!
Rachel Moneymaker (DS) – Rachel played JV last year and has improved quite a bit. She is a defensive specialist for us…and one of our best passers. I expect her to be digging balls and showing her quickness on defense. She has a great go-getter attitude!
Kim Badger (DS) – Kim is another player returning the JHS volleyball program. Kim played JV last year and I look for her to be one of our best passers and diggers this year and next. Kim has a good work ethic and a desire to get better w/ every practice and game. Look for her to pass dimes right to our setter every time!
Natalie Rauschenbach (middle blocker/right side) – Natalie is one of four sophomores on varsity this year. She is 6’0 tall and I look for great things out of her on the front row. She is very athletic and w/ the right coaching, she has the potential to be a great player.
Natalie Michalja – (outside hitter/middle blocker) - Natalie is also one of our sophomores. She has a great work ethic and I look for big things out of her over the next 3 years at JHS.
Jazzmin Garcia – (middle blocker) – Jazzmin is such a pleasant surprise. She is so athletic and has the best attitude. She just wants to learn and get better and that’s what makes a great player. Jazzmin is our lone sophomore that is starting for us opposite Cate. Watch for her blocking big hits and returning some of her own big kills.
Ashley Snedeker – (outside hitter/DS) – Ashley is one of those players that every team needs. She like Jazzmin just wants to learn, work hard and give it everything she’s got. That kind of attitude and determination is what builds great teams and a winning atmosphere. I look forward to coaching her over the next few years.
