Sirs Knowledge Source provides information from thousands of articles on social, scientific, historic, economic, political and global issues.  Articles come from more than 1,200 newspapers,  magazines, journals and government publications.  Graphics are included in the form of charts, maps, diagrams and drawings are available from many of the articles.

Search across multiple journals.  Access full text Science Magazine articles one year or older and find abstracts of articles that are less than one year old.

LITERATURE AND WRITING

Wilson Biographies Plus- includes hundreds of 20^th century and current full-text biographies on a wide variety of famous people.

 Master Plots contains information such as literary criticism, book reviews and author profiles.

Research and Writing

REFERENCE

Electric Library is a general research collection of information. It has information from hundreds of magazines, international newswires, 2000 classic books, hundreds of maps, thousands of photographs, as well as major works of literature, art, and reference.

Oxford English Dictionary: OED contains the entire text of the 20-volume dictionary and includes definitions, etymology, and quotations for 500,000 words.
