MR. PARNELL’s Biography

Mr. Parnell graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Physical Education, K-12 and a minor in Health Education. While at Bethel he played football there and was a 4 year letter winner. In 2005 he was selected to the American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team for involvement in charitable organizations, service groups, or other community initiatives. He was then also elected a semi-finalist for The Draddy Award, an award given to high achieving scholar athletes.
This past summer Mr. Parnell was married. His wife Kristi is from Chicago, Illinois and currently works at Rose Hill Jr. High as a Para-professional. She also graduated from Bethel with her degree in Social Work.
Prior to attending Bethel, Mr. Parnell graduated from Juanita High School in 2002. And even before that he attended Thoreau Elementary and our very own Finn Hill Junior High. Many of the teachers he is working with now had him as a student while he was here at Finn Hill. He is very excited to be back in Kirkland and back at Finn Hill.
