W.T.I., or Washington Teen Institute, is a club that is trying to stop
students from choosing to buy products from Tobacco Companies. The
students also performed skits and plays demonstrating the importance
of declining when offered Drugs, Tobacco, and or Alcoholic Beverages.

Finn Hill competes against other Lake Washington Junior High Schools
in the National Academic League. The Lake Washington District winner
goes on to compete nationally. This activity runs from December
through February, and is open to all 7th, 8th and 9th graders. Competition
is based on all the subjects taught in school.

want. Jazz band meets in room 701 at 7:00 in the morning.

Honor Society is an elite club consisting of a select portion of the
school population. As of now, no more members are permitted in, so
listen for announcements next year if you are interested. In this
club you do community service projects and have fun. To be eligible
at Finn Hill, you must have a 3.5 GPA, you have to do a service project
and have five service hours to continue being a member. Honor Society
currently meets every First and Third Tuesday before School in room
103.

Having trouble with your homework? If you are really that stumped, this
is the place for you. Come to the library after school on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays from 3-4 pm.

Finn Hill Chess Club meets every Monday
2:50 pm to 3:50 pm. We
do prizes, tournaments, award levels, tactics for chess and most of all,
we play chess. We are in need of boards. Please contact the
school at 425-821-6544 if you have boards to donate to the club.
