School Office Hours EJH office hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Teachers are normally available from 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM. Any students in the building after school hours must be under the direct supervision of a coach, teacher, advisor, or a staff member. All other students must leave the building by 2:50 p.m. each day. All visitors must report to the main office and wear a visitor's badge while in the school. |
Counselors Counselors are here to help you and are one of your most valuable resources. If you want to talk to your counselor or to a counselor that is available you are more then welcome to do so. Counselors are assigned by the student’s first initial of his or her last name.

Fees Student I.D. cards & ASB membership All students are expected to have an I.D. card. This is used for library check-out, lunch accounts, and computer verification. The first I.D. card is free. Replacement cards are $5.00. ASB memberships may be purchased in the ASB office for $20.00. The I.D. card and ASB membership are required for participation in all extracurricular athletic activities.
Student Accident Insurance School insurance is available through ExcelServ. Schools are not responsible for accidental injury to your child unless the injury is the result of direct negligence on the part of the school district. Applications for ExcelServ insurance are available in the counseling office.
Shop, Lab & Art Classes Students will be charged for materials used for personal projects, and equipment that may be damaged due to neglect or misconduct.
Yearbooks Because we have a deadline for placing our final order for annuals, November 30th will be the last purchase date with a guarantee of receiving the yearbook. Yearbooks cost $25.
Lost or damaged items If your textbook, library book/material, PE lock or other school issued materials are damaged in any way, a fine will be charged to replace it. Payments for yearbooks, ASB cards, and any class fees or fines may be paid in the ASB office before or after school and during lunch times. |

Dances Evergreen offers several all-school dances throughout the year. Tickets may be purchased at school during lunch a few days in advance. There are no ticket sales at the door. If you do not have a ticket you will not be admitted. Dances are always in the gym, so our dances will be "Sock Hops" for the protection of the gym floor. Clothing worn to dances must meet the school dress code. Parents should pick their children up promptly at the end of the dance so that we can secure the building. If parents choose to pick up their children before the dance ends, they must enter the building to do so.
