How could I attend the University of Washington for six years and not be a Dawg fan? My husband and I have season tickets to the Husky football games. During college football season, you can find us tailgating in UW's Montlake parking lot. We start tailgating at 8:00 am sharp! |

My husband and I LOVE to
travel. Since our marriage in 1999, We have vacationed in various
countries including: Jamaica, India, Japan, the Philippines, Greece, Italy,
Spain, and Mexico.
This last summer break, we spent some time soaking in the rays in beautiful Maui and sailing the Inside Passage of Alaska. This next winter break, we are returning for another trip to India. |

I also travel with the
Washington Cultural Exchange (WCE) on trips to China. Through
the WCE, I've been able to take students to Hong Kong, Guangzhou,
Shanghai, and Beijing. On my last trip to China, I accompanied the WCE delegation to Hong Kong, and Guangzhou. This was an incredibly valuable experience for the students. We had the opportunity to visit students from a kindergarten and 3 different middle schools. Our students even took a day trip to Foshan, where they learned the martial art of Pushing Hands. Furthermore, members of the delegation had the opportunity to extend their trip to Beijing to see Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China. If you have any questions about the trip, please contact me or contact Jim Zatloukal, the director of the WCE. |

This is a my little dog, Kohana. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 28th, 2005. Although she loves me and my husband, she's terribly frightened of other people. Unfortunately, she'll never be a courageous watch dog. |
