Following Directions

This is a timed test. You have only 10 minutes to complete it.

1. Read EVERYTHING carefully before starting.

2. Put your name in the upper right hand corner of the half sheet of paper we gave you.

3. Circle your first name.

4. Draw 5 small squares in the upper left-hand corner.

5. Put an x in each square.

6. Put a circle around each square.

7. Sign your name at the bottom of the paper.

8. Loudly call out your first name.

9. Put a circle all the way around your signature.

10. Put a smiley face in the lower left hand corner of the paper.

11. Draw a triangle around the smiley face.

12. On the back of the paper multiply 103 x66.

13. Draw a rectangle around the multiplication problem on the back.

14.Write Yes, Yes, Yes on your paper.

15.If you think you have followed directions carefully to this point, say "I have followed directions".

16. Add 8950 and 9803 on the back of this paper.

17. Put a circle around your answer to the addition problem.

18. In your normal speaking voice count backwards from 10 to 1.

19. Draw 3 small stars at the top of your paper.

20. If you are the first person to reach this point, LOUDLY call out: "I am the first person to reach this point and I am the leader in following directions.

21. Now call out "I am nearly finished and I have followed directions!"

22. Now that you have finished reading everything carefully before you started, do only sentences one and two, and 23.
