Scholarship
for juniors and seniors:
Student-Written Essay Scholarship Contest
The Journal of College Admission is looking for student-written articles about
the college-transition and admission process (the college search, application
process, transitioning from high school to college, etc).
High school juniors and seniors and college freshman and sophomore are invited
to enter. Finalists will have their work published in the Winter 2009 Journal
of College Admission special issue, The Student Perspective: My Transition
Experience. Seven finalists will be awarded $1,000 each.

DigiPen Institute of TechnologyWASL Scholarship
Eligibility: Seniors who plan to attend DigiPen Institute of Technology, U.S.
citizen
Criteria: Meet WASL score requirements: Level 4 in Math, Level 3 in all other
sections
Award: 20% of total tuition costs at DigiPen, 15 scholarships - first-come,
first-served basis
DigiPen
Institute of Technology Advanced Placement Scholarship
Eligibility: Seniors who plan to attend DigiPen Institute of Technology,
US citizen
Criteria: Meet AP score requirements: At least a 4 on one of the following exams
and
at least a 5 on one of the exams - any Calculus AP exam (AB/BC) and Computer
Science
or Physics C
Award: 30% of total tuition costs at DigiPen. 5 scholarships - first-come, first-served
DigiPen Women's Scholarship
Eligibility: Female seniors who plan to attend DigiPen Institute of Technology,
US citizen
Criteria: Meet the admission requirements for the applied for DigiPen program
Award: Ten $1000 scholarships
DigiPen
FIRST Scholarship
Eligibility: High school seniors who plan to attend DigiPen Institute of Technology
and have participated on a FIRST Robotics Competition team during their junior
or senior year.
Criteria: Completed DigiPen application, essay, academic record
Award: Two $2500 scholarships and five $1000 scholarships

Washington Federation of Private Career Schools and Colleges
Careers That Work Scholarship
Eligibility: Eastlake seniors planning to attend one of the 30 private career
schools and
colleges throughout Washington State. See the web site for a complete list of

State University - Freshman Physics and Astronomy Scholarship
Eligibility: Senior interested in attending WSU with plans to major in one of
the fields
in Astronomy or Physics
