My Pyramid for Kids

For 5th grade health. Go here to learn more about the food pyramid, create your own menues, and to play the blast off game.

 

Thoughts and Notes:

I am inspired by this group of children. We are coming together as a community and are showing kindness, hard work, patience, and perseverance in our daily work! We have an opportunity to go very far as thinkers, communicators, learners and teachers!

Reminders:

  • Expert's Fair June 12th 6:30-7:30

  • June 18th last day of school, half day

Expert's dates:

·         4/25 (Friday) – Identify topic and resources needed (sign off)

·         5/9 (Friday) - Gathering Facts Sheet Organizer due (sign off)

·         5/22 (Friday) – Rough Draft written and design layout (sign off)

·         5/30 (Friday) – Final Draft/report finished (sign off)-extended to June 3rd

·         6/12 (Thursday) – Expert’s Fair! Presentation of display in class during the day, then Expert’s Fair that evening 6:30-7:30
