        Biomes/Habitats  This site from Enchanted Learning has descriptions of many different biomes found on Earth.  It includes information about animals living in these biomes.

    Electronic Zoo - Students can use this site to find information about animals. Students search through the animal database, then choose the family the animal belongs to. The student will narrow down the families until he/she has found the information about the animal.

        ENature This site has online field guides to many catagories of animals, plants and nature.

     ExZooberance  Click on the Virtual Zoo for animal facts.  Many other animal related activites too.

     Kids Go Wild  Wild animal facts on a few species, wild news and a wild arcade.

    Kids' Planet  This site focuses on worldwide endangered wildlife.  It has facts, games and other features.

    Kratts' Creatures  Animal facts for animals all over the world.

     National Zoo The  National Zoo in Washington D.C.'s website has animal facts and info about the different exhibits.

        *NationalGeographic.com/Kids!   One of the best resources for information on the Net about the world, its people, and its wildlife.

    Sounds of the Worlds Animals The sounds animals make in different languages.

    The Wild Ones  This site from the Wildlife Preservation Trust International has lots of facts and can search for specific animals.  It also has info in Spanish.

    Woodland Park Zoo Visit Seattle's own zoo. Click on Animal Facts for fact sheets on different animals.

    World Wildlife Fund  This site has information on endangered species.

    Zooish  Animals, Science and Nature come to life.
