GIVE as much as you can to Thoreau’s primary fundraiser – the Ribbet Run! This event is held every Fall.

CLIP those box tops! Each one turned in to Thoreau = $0.10 donated to the school. Send them with your child to class.

SHOP at Albertson’s using cards from the school. Just swipe the card with each purchase you make and they will donate 5% of your purchases to Thoreau!

APPLY for the Box Tops VISA card. The company will donate 1% of all purchases with that card to Thoreau. Call 1.800.650.0235 and designate Thoreau as your school.

SHOP online at www.boxtops4education.com and join the booster club. They will donate up to 8% of your purchases to Thoreau!

REGISTER your Washington Mutual bankcard and designate Thoreau as your school. They will donate $0.05 for every time you swipe! Go to www.wamoolafor-schools.com or call 1.866.wamoola.

USE Albertson’s partner cards when grocery shopping. We will distribute these at school. These are already registered for Thoreau, and they will donate up to 5% of your total purchases to the school!

SAVE Foster Farms chicken labels. Go to www.FosteringEducation.com and enter the code from the label, then designate Thoreau as the donation recipient.

APPLY for a Target VISA card and designate Thoreau as your school. They will donate 1% of your purchases to the school. Apply at www.target.com or fill out an application at the store (located in Northgate and Redmond).

RECYCLE your old printer ink cartridges and cell phones by turning them in to Thoreau. We recycle these for cash!

JOIN PTA!

VOLUNTEER! Thoreau has so many opportunities for volunteering. Check with your child’s teacher – often they can use your help in the classroom; or check out the many, many different PTA committees that you can join or participate with! Just ask!
