Welcome!  This will be an exciting year for your children!  It will be a year of emotional growth and independence for your child. 

I believe school is a place for learning.  This learning can be positive and exciting when children are allowed independence and responsibility within the classroom.  I value my instructional time with your child. 

Along with teaching your child to read, write, and do math, teaching them to become a cooperative, caring and positive member of our class is one of my top goals!  I look forward to getting to know your children this year and look forward to discovering each child’s unique qualities!

I have been teaching for the Lake Washington School District for 11 years.  I graduated from the UW and have my Master’s in Ed in Creative Arts.  My husband and I live with our two young boys, Jackson and Isaac, on a wooded 1 1/3 acre in Woodinville.  There we like to hang out in the shade and visit our neighbors’ cows and horses.

When I am not at school teaching, you can usually spot me taking walks with Jackson and Isaac.  We also enjoy reading books at the library, picking blackberries, and creating messy concoctions in our kitchen.
