Stella Schola Headmistress Brigitte Tennis presented Miss Laura Yackley with her scholarship award at Holy Names Academy in Seattle last week.

We are proud to announce the third annual gift of scholarship funds to Stella Schola alumni who are graduating from high school with plans to attend college. Parents, teachers, alumni, and community members donate into a fund for these scholarships.

This year’s $1000 winner is Laura Yackley who is graduating from Holy Names Academy with plans to attend a Catholic university in Washington DC and major in music education.

Two $500 scholarships were also awarded to; Jason Wang who will attend UCLA, and Ian Story who will attend the University of Washington in the Architecture program.
