Although we gave it our best effort, unfortunately we weren’t able to work out all the difficult details associated with offering an alternative enhancement class. Truly, I thought it was a "go" and thus published an article in the Bugle. No sooner did I go public then things unraveled.

Please accept my personal apologies. I am embarrassed to have made a promise I can’t deliver.

As you know, the enhancement classes are offered so teachers can have their contractual planning time. The team made a unanimous decision to take financial compensation.

What that means for students is they will have 60 minutes additional classroom time per week with their regular teacher.
