I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was a student at Finch Elementary in Northwest Spokane.  I loved "playing school" with my four sisters and one brother.  Grade school holds  happy memories for me, and I hope it will for your child, too.

In my free time, nothing gives me more pleasure than working in my garden.  I love it when the days are long and the warm sun is on my back.  My  flower garden reminds me of a classroom - full of life with everything  blossoming in its own time.  

My husband, Mark, and I have fun going on camping trips in our van. And we usually revolve our outings around a golf course.  

I have been a teacher for more years than I care to count!  Each class has its own special personality and character.  It is fun for me to see the little first graders come back and visit as grown-ups.
