My favorite lunch contains: chocolate milk, pizza, and an apple. Lunches cost $2.00 for students and $2.75 for teachers and staff. The lunch rules are:

Bus Links by April Berg
About every two weeks our class has a Bus link Activity as a reward for good behavior on the bus. These rewards are earned by having enough bus links. You earn links by having good trips on the bus. Your bus driver fills out a "bus report". There are three levels of behavior; Excellent, fair, and poor. If you have an excellent you get two links per ride. With a fair you get one. with a poor, you get none. If the driver writes you a ticket, You loose all of your links. You get a ticket if you are worse than a poor or out of control with your behavior. We hope you don't get a ticket, These activities are fun! Some thing we do are: game day, movie, snacks, and extra recess. Keep up your behavior and earn those bus links! Class store by Daniel OUr class has a store in it. Any day Mrs. Jensen feels like it she opens store. If you are a Level 4 or 3 you get to buy things with your points. You can earn points on your point chart, which is kept on the corner of your desk, by listening, following directions, not interupting, working hard, staying on task, being polite/helpful to others, etc. etc. We have a meeting to decide what to buy for our store. Sometimes we have a girls side and a boys side. One of our teachers runs the store. We have to vote on items $10.00 or less. YOu get about 3 minutes to shop. |
our class has community luncheons in our classroom every other month for fun. On October 19th, we had our first community luncheon of the year. The class had pizza, salad, fruit and milk were served by Mrs. Jenson &Mrs. Angell. We had two visitors, Mrs. Fields (see " what our counselor does") and her lunch buddy, Melissa. Mrs. Fields is our school counselor. One thing she likes about her job is that she loves kids. One thing she hates about her job is that she has to do paperwork. Before she became our counselor she taught 3rd grade in California. Mrs. Fields has lived in many countries. They are Germany, Paris, France, Rome, Italy and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For those of you readers who are wondering where Mrs. Fields was born, she was born in Stockton, California. One of her hobbies is traveling. She’s been to Asia, the Middle East; North America and South America. (though she wishes she has been to Africa) Her ancestral history originates from England and Russia. When she’s off-duty she likes to do some of the following things: golf, tennis, hiking, biking, gardening, and/or read a book. Currently the book she is reading is called “A Month In A Country”. Sometimes she will read it in her hammock in her garden to relax. However when she is stressed, she jumps into her hot-tub, lie in her hammock or watch TV.
Mrs.
Angell by
Elaina
Mrs. Angell is the half day EBD teacher at Redmond El for grades 4-6. She loves her job. She hates her new dismissal time but she is learning to live with it. Let go, Mrs. Angell. Let go. She has been doing the EBD program five years here and four years in California, three years in Auburn and one year in MOntana. She has lived in many places including Kanas and Maryland. She loves the east coast and the west coast. She doesn't like living in the middle. She gets confused about which direction she is going and she has to be near mountains or water or she freaks. She was born in canada. She took forever to get her U.S. Citizenship but she finally did it. She loves to travel. She has been all over. She is excited to go to Europe this summer for the very first time. Her ancestors were from England and Scotland. She loves gardening, boating, reading scary books. If she is not at school she is at the lake. If she is not at the lake she is watching her girls play basketball. Her girls are Brooke and Brittany. They are 16 and 14. OH yes, she has a dog name cody and a husband named Doug. When she is stressed she takes a long walk and enjoys nature She likes working with behavior kids because she thinks her job is never dull and she learns so very much every day from her students.
