Weekly CPE Journal

Your journal is your way to share with me what you are learning and thinking about in regards to the performing arts and your personal development.

 Journals are graded every other week.  Each week is worth 10 points (5 for the self-evaluations and 5 for the end of the week reflection).  Therefore there is a total of 20 points possible every two weeks.  Students are expected to have their journal in the 8th or 7th grade CPE crate in Mrs. Daman's room on Mondays identified in the homework calendar as CPE journal check days.

Your journal should include the following information every week.

1)       Self-assessment using the check-off sheets every day with three every week (see the website for an example).

2)      One paragraph a week evaluating your overall performance in class and anything you learned or thought was interesting that happened during the week.  Also make sure you talk about anything that is not making sense to you.

Note:  No more vocabulary is required as of this week (04/07 -04/11), but students may continue to do this.
