Eligibility
- Physical examination with doctor's signature on school-provided
form. Signature must be updated every year.
- Proof of medical insurance or purchase school insurance.
- Medical emergency authorization form signed and emergency contact
numbers provided.
- Purchase ASB card ($20).
- No outstanding fines or fees.
- Sign District Athletic Policy.
- Maintain 2.0 GPA and be failing NO classes. Grade check is
done at the end of the 3rd week of each season. If academic
eligibility is not met, student is put on 1 week of probation (may
practice and play in games during probation). If academic
eligibility is not met at the end of probation week, student is
ineligible to practice or play in games until academic requirements
are met.
Sports Fees
Due to the
rising costs associated with the support of the district’s athletics
program, the Board of Directors approved an increase to the participation fee. Fees will be collected on a per sport basis with
both individual and family caps. The family caps will apply for
brothers/sisters who attend the same school. Fees must be paid at the
time of turnout and will be so noted on the clearance form approved by the
school bookkeeper or secretary. Parents of student who are unable to
afford the fee should contact the coach or athletic director at their
school. The following participation fees apply beginning with the
2006-2007 school
year:
Junior High School
$35
per sport with an individual cap of $70
Siblings at the same school are capped at $35
Examples:

Student A has no siblings at the
school and plays two sports. Fee: $70

Student B has no siblings at the
school and plays three sports. Fee: $70
-
Students C and D are siblings at
the same school. Student C plays three sports and Student D plays two
sports. Fee: $105
Refunds will be provided under the following conditions:

Student is cut from the squad by the coach: 100% refund

Student quits due to illness or injury prior to 1st contest:
100% refund

Student quits due to family moving prior to 1st contest: 100%
refund
