Using Color Pencil - Keep
your pencils SHARP
-
Color
pencil can create the illusion of other media: pastel, acrylic paint,
water color and even oil paint.
-
The
texture of the paper used will greatly effect the visual texture of
the work
-
To
use this media successfully requires attention to both the pressure
you apply and the length and
width of the individual stroke.
-
The
value and saturation would be built up gradually, layer by layer -
this takes practice.
-
Once
the paper is completely sealed and saturated it is VERY difficult
to remove the color pencil stroke.
