Types of Line

 

Organizational Line Exercise: Create a still life interior from the 24" by 24" illustration board provided, Carefully cut, score and glue lines as directed. Add several gessoed jars to create a dynamic still life - your set up should show display depth and perspective. You can begin with horizontal and vertical lines, extending them into space. Generally state the placement of objects as they relate to each other and to the space they occupy. Continue adding "finding and defining" lines to achieve a sculptural effect similar to Giacometti's style.
