Welcome
Japan is a distant
country filled with many new and interesting ideas. This site has been
created to fulfill the curiosity of those whom have a need to learn more
about our far neighbor across the ocean. Here you will find
information one more than just Japanese language but the culture and society
as well. Hopefully by reading the content in this site, you will see
there is more to Japan than just great videogames and anime, such a long
history, complex culture and a different way of life.
About the Site
This website
has been made as the service project of
two third year Japanese students whom were juniors at Juanita High School in
Kirkland, Washington. The objective of this project are simple, to
give back to the community using the skills and interest of Japanese they
have acquired through the class. By creating a website about the many
aspects of Japan, these students hope to attract new people to the world of Japanese
culture and show them things that may persuade them to pursue there interest
the area.
