Listening, Presenting, Non-verbal communication, Awareness of Public Relations, Self-Esteem & Speaking Skills

 

Group Process

Team Building, Situational Leadership, Decision Making, Generating Ideas, Value Voting & Consensus, Problem Solving

 

Managerial Skills

Effective Meetings, Project Planning, Time Management, Task Analysis, Prioritizing

 

Self Awarenes

Quality Leadership, Goal Setting, Relationships, Etiquette, Increase Self Awareness

 

Human Relations

Diversity, Community Service, Understanding, Positive Reinforcement, Value of Individual Contributions, Overall Awareness

 

 

Many of these lessons are taught through the organization of School Spirit events.  This Leadership class will create various assemblies and school functions that not only teach valuable life lessons, but also enhance your experience here at Juanita.

 

There will also be various in class assignments and discussions that will also be based on the above curriculum.  Occasionally you will have homework assignments, and some may involve a bit of parental participation!  (interviews, discussions, etc...)

 

You grade is dependant on attitude, participation, peer reviews, self-assessment, and completion of assignments.  Feel free to ask questions anytime!
