I am looking forward to a great year! My objective is to create the environment that will stimulate curiosity and inspire critical thinking.
The Mountains to Sound Education Program teaches students in King County schools about the challenge of sustaining a healthy, natural environment in balance with the needs of a growing population. Savvy about Soil, Wise about Water explores the connection between soil, water and forests through hands-on experiments. Students will begin to develop an understanding of how soil textures help determine the use of the land. If you are available to chaperone, we will be going on Friday, October 10th from 9:15-2:30 e-mail me or send back the sign up sheet that went home Friday, September 26th . You will not need to drive, just come along. If you do want to go you need to have approved volunteer status, let me know and I will send the forms home or click the link below. you will need to attach a copy of your driver's license.
