What is the “Spring for Bell” Auction? An adult only silent & live auction where donated items will be bid on to raise funds for A.G. Bell. There will be wine, beer & sodas, hors d’oeuvres and desserts to enjoy.
When is it? May 17th at 6:30pm at the Kirkland Congregational Church, 106 5th Ave. (across from City Hall)
Who can come? All adults are welcome. Children will not be permitted due to liability issues and state permit requirements for serving alcohol.
Why should I go? Every dollar we raise at the auction will be spent on enrichment activities for all A.G. Bell children.
What enrichment activities? Visiting local artists creating special art projects with the students. Offsetting the cost of field trips by providing buses and reduced fees. Assemblies, classroom grants for materials, and library materials. Math, Science and Language events. All that and hopefully more!
How can I help? · Donate an item/service that can be auctioned by April 23rd. · Donate materials for the event to keep our costs low. · Make a cash donation. · Purchase tickets for $10.00 each by May 7th or at the door for $15. · Come to the auction and bid generously!!
Who do I contact to help or make a donation? Raye Winters #522-4571 Rayewinters@comcast.net Kimberly Vining @ Viningdesign@comcast.net (Donations needed ASAP)

What’s New with “Spring for Bell”?
March is quickly passing us by with sunnier days and baseball & softball games starting to fill our calendars. Spring is arriving and “Spring for Bell” will soon be here. This year we are building on two years of experience and making a few changes. These changes will help streamline the event and most importantly increase our enjoyment at the event and our profits.
Earlier this month, we sent home fliers asking Bell families to help us procure new items or services to be auctioned. We are starting to receive some great items & services. We need more help with donations if we are to reach our goal of $15,000. This year we need your donations as soon as possible so we can print an auction catalogue. If you plan to donate, please drop off your item at the school office no later than April 11th. If you need it to be picked up, please contact us at Viningdesign@comcast.net. Your entire donation is tax-deductible and you will receive a letter for your donation when we receive it.
Again this year we will be selling tickets to the auction. They will be on sale from April 7th to May 7th for $10 a ticket. By purchasing your tickets ahead of time we will able to determine the amount of food and beverages needed. It will also help offset the cost of extra food which reduces our profit. If you choose to buy your ticket at the door it will be $15. Look for the invitation and ticket order form in April. When you purchase your tickets ahead of time you will receive the auction catalogue the week before the auction and save $5. You’ll be ready to bid as soon as you walk into the door.
This year’s auction promises to be a fun adult evening that benefits all Bell’s kids. Please join us. If you would like to help out with the auction (decorations, set-up, clean-up, help during the event, etc.) let me know. Everyone can contribute in helping us reach our enrichment goals this year!
You can help by:
*Dropping off an item/service to be auctioned off by April 11th at Bell. *Volunteer with decorations, set-up, clean-up, etc. *Purchasing auction tickets in April for $10. *Joining us May 17th for the auction – it will be fun!
