Career Choices is a program that provides linkage between students and the local business community. This is a class that provides instruction on the variety and scope of available employment, how to access job information, and how to identify community resources that relate to their career pathway. The primary emphasis is to enable students to assume an active role in developing workplace skills that would ensure a successful career. In Career Choices the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom are applied to the work place following an individualized work plan. This class will help you plan your future, whether entering the work place directly after high school or continuing your education in college, university, or apprenticeship programs.
