How to Make Credit in Art

HOW TO EARN CREDIT IN ART

This is a participation class. Working in class on assigned or negotiated projects and doing the sessions assigned reading and writing assignments is how you make credit.

Inappropriate absences can’t be made up. Appropriate absences can be made up with homework- see teacher for choices or look on the BEST website-Art Department page for Additional Credit opportunities.

Additional credit can be earned by working on artwork outside class. This must be discussed with instructor beforehand. A timesheet kept on the session calendar WITH PARENT SIGNATURE plus the artwork must be turned in by Monday on the week of sign out for that session.

Your sketchbook with timesheet can be turned in for additional credit IF you made credit in your Art class. Independent Art contracts must include a proposal of what you wish to learn and do for credit. Ask Mia or Evelyn about Independent Contract proposals.
