This Week's Homework

Homework Policy

The main purpose for our homework is to extend classroom learning and help students with new concepts. It also teaches them how to study and become responsible for completing assignments away from the classroom setting.

Students will have an average of one hour of homework per night Monday through Thursday. Except for special reports or projects, homework will generally not be assigned on Fridays or weekends. (Weekend Research will be an option to earn class money). Along with the reading in class, students should be doing some form of reading at home for no less than 20 minutes a night. This leaves around 40 minutes for other homework to be completed. As a class, we will be discussing there is always something to fill this time and make it a productive period.
